This is completly offencive and not funny at all. how can people still make bigoted "jokes" about bigger women. a lot of men like bigger womena and a lot of women are perfectly happy being the size they are. its aweful of them to make fun of what is such a touchy subject for so many people. and its aweful of you for condoning such behavior. its absolutly terrible.

Really? FOR SERIOUS? How is this in any way "funny" or "acceptable"? How doth it offend me? Let me count the ways. Making fun of larger women (which is a debatable point about what constitutes "fat" - not getting into that because it's so not the point). It's off limits to mock people because of race, sex, orientation, beliefs, disabilities etc. but OK to make fun of weight? Really?

There's the cruel, snarky "nobody wants a fat bride! Hahahaha!" that just makes women feel bad. Why? Why is it necessary? Why make fun of people like that? Why poke at women's self-esteem? I am not really interested in debating whether it's "true" that nobody wants a "fat bride" or that all women want to lose weight before their wedding (it's not, though) - any woman could be made to feel bad about her weight, even if she's already average or slender. There's a reason why anorexia and bulimia exist: targeting and shaming larger women also makes many slender or average women insecure. It makes them think "Maybe I'm the fat girl they mean? I'm not as skinny as those girls in bridal magazines..." when they look perfectly fine. This is in no way acceptable.

And even if a girl IS larger, that doesn't mean she should be mocked or shamed...she's getting married just the same as thinner girls and deserves to be treated like them.

Really. The fact that Slim Fast even thought this was acceptable is sickening. I don't need (or want) their disgusting junk in a can, I don't need (or want) to lose weight before my wedding, and they can go eff off.

Ugh.

I don't want to drink their nasty drinks anyway (I prefer healthy fresh vegetables and fruits. You know, REAL FOOD), but if I'd been considering it I'd boycott them.

She needs more then Slim Fast. Personally I prefer medium size women, not obese or skinny. While, admittingly, I'm actually skinny, lol. Also, what about men? Women aren't aren't the only one's who get fat.

Maybe because its an advertisement for a product marketed towards women, because women are more likely to be critical about their bodies?

I agree. Honestly, I am not as attracted to thin women as filled-out ones. I think that America is obsessed with two extremes- eating so much one becomes morbidly obese, and starving yourself to become a size 0.
