By posted March 5, 2010, 11:19 am | Comments: 2

To all you hipsters out there, if traditional wedding dresses with beading or full ball gowns stuffed with tulle make you cringe, Urban Outfitters has the solution. The trendy retailer announced recently that they will enter a new market: weddings!

With the continued success of their clothing lines, Urban will expand into the wedding world, starting with online sales of heirloom-y wedding dresses. The dresses will run between $1,000 and $5,000, and are intended to be handed down and passed on. And if you want to make an entirely “Urban” wedding, the retailers have every intention of offering jewelry, bridesmaid gear, accessories, shoes: the works.

Knowing Urban Outfitters’ unique style and look, the dresses are sure to be different and fun. What do you think? Would you wear a wedding gown from Urban Outfitters?
