The First Ever “Hamburger Honeymoon”
An Ohio couple whom recently engaged has planned to take what they figure to be the first ever “Hamburger Honeymoon.” Mehgan Murphy and her fiance Ryan love hamburgers. So much so that they’ve opted to start their married life together with help from the American icon. Back in 2008 they were inspired by George Motz’s book Hamburger America which lists the top burgers of the nation. Six of which hail from Ohio. In a 14-hour, 600 mile, stint they visited them all and had a blast in the meantime.

Â
Having conquered their own state they decided what better opportunity to visit others on the list than their very own Honeymoon. So following their wedding this year they be traveling from Cincinnati all the way to Key West (and back of course) along I-75. They plan on stopping in Lexington, Knoxville, Chattanooga, Atlanta, Tampa and Miami amongst others. If the “way to a man’s heart” really is through his stomach then I believe this couple have the ingredients for a very successful marriage. I can’t wait to see the pictures and story from the Honeymoon.
