Bride Attempts 6 Pound Burrito Eating Challenge
Most newlyweds head off to the reception hall directly after their ceremony but for one couple who recently wed in Las Vegas, Nevada, they went straight to the NASCAR Cafe in the Sahara Hotel.
The restaurant offers an eating challenge titled the B3 Burrito, a monstrous 6 lb creation that consists of four tortillas, scoops of beans, onions and shredded beef. Once rolled it’s drizzled with enchilada and nacho cheese sauce. To finish of this feast it is sprinkled with chopped olives and topped with four alternating ice-cream-size scoops of sour cream and guacamole. It is 2 feet long and is nearly 5 times the volume of an average human stomach.
The challenge costs $20 to do but if you are victorious in completing it within 1 hour all by your lonesome you get the $20 refunded as well as a lifetime pass on Sahara’s roller coaster. To date nearly 3000 people have attempted it and only 27 have been successful in completing it.
There is no indication if Jessica conquered the baby-sized meal but NASCAR Cafe’s Twitter had this to say:
Just married Jessica and Curtis. Jessica decided to try the 6 pound, 24 inch buritto before her honeymoon? Curtis is in trouble tonight! She gives a new meaning to the vow “For better or worse” :) Here goes Jessica on her wedding day with the B-3 Buritto……Look out tonight honey!!!!!
