Summer Camp Counselor Proposal

For the first time in OU FCA Camp history, the jr. high boys challenged the jr. high girls to the greatest game of “Gorilla, Man, Gun” ever played…but little does Ali know that this contest is merely a front for Operation Happily Ever After – the greatest engagement proposal of all time.

Private Plane Flyover Proposal

This is how I planned for four months to propose to my girlfriend, now my wife.I told her we were going to film and take pictures of our house from a plane with some people we know who were sitting in the front… she had no clue I had the proposal all set up!

When she saw the banner on the ground, she turned around and saw the ring. I had prepared something intelligent to say but I was so nervous that I just said (in french… which is mother tongue): “Tu veux-tu?” which means “Do you want to?” And she was so surprised she never actually answered! You can see her nodding yes on the video! Enjoy!!!

5,940 3M Post-it Note Proposal

My wedding was about a month to go and I decided to make a memorable event for my future wife. But, I and she were working and due to preparation of wedding, I didn’t have enough budgets for expensive proposal.

While I was considering for the event, I remembered what she said in the past. “Wow it would be great if I can get a chance to go in the room with full of yellow post it just like Sang Sang Plus” (Sang Sang Plus is one of the famous talk show (TV program) in Korea and they prepare a room with full of yellow post it – questions from fans to famous celebrity) I wrote all the happy memories that I had with my wife in 5,940 post it.

It took me 4 days & 5 nights to write everything and post it in the bathroom. (I tried main living room first, but, due to surface of wallpaper, I had to change the place) Once we back from honeymoon, we took all the post it off and kept it in the box until now.

Fake Audition Proposal

SETUP: Most of you know that Heather and I have been dating for about three years. I knew that I wanted to ask her to marry me, but I also knew that if I suggested a weekend trip or anything out of the ordinary that she’d get suspicious.

So I started trying to think up a way to surprise her. Heather is an actress and I’m a comedian. We both audition for commercials, and periodically we audition as a couple, when the advertiser wants real couples (to kiss, etc).

So…I set up a fake couples commercial for Kay Jewelers. The fake commercial is a proposal gone wrong – I propose but I keep saying the wrong thing (tag line: You work on the first part, we’ve got the rest). There are four takes, and in each one the casting director keeps telling me to improvise on the written (fake) script. In the last take, she tells me to completely improvise the whole thing. And so I propose with a real ring instead of the toy I’ve been using for the previous three takes, and a real proposal I wrote (I was so nervous I didn’t get it exactly right.)

I’d been planning this for about two months and I was convinced Heather knew but, after seeing her reaction, I think I managed to surprise her. Was I nervous? Only if you count 10 trips to the bathroom as “nervous.”
