In Mississippi you would be hard pressed to find a wedding that didn’t include a touch of burlap. It doesn’t matter how fancy or simple the style – burlap seems to work in a southern wedding. You don’t want to overdo it, pick one or two ways to use some burlap and it will be noticeable and adorable but if you use it too many ways it could get tiresome. Great Wedding Ideas in Burlap!

Every good southern wedding will have a touch of burlap somewhere. Here are a few great ideas to show your heritage at even the most elegant of weddings. You could wrap votive candles in burlap for your reception tables or wrap a vase of flowers for the centerpiece. My favorite is the evergreen sapling wedding favors wrapped in burlap, but you might be more in to the burlap “Love Sack”.
