Tuscany Meets the Beach by Jennifer Weiss Photography

By posted February 7, 2011, 8:00 am | Comments: 0

Today we get to share such a sweet wedding with you from Jennifer Weiss Photography. I’m not sure if it’s the couples smiles, the cupcakes, or just the fact that they seemed so happy, but this wedding just melts my heart. Here is what Jennifer had to say about the day:

David and Monica were married at their residence in a beautiful equestrian community called Caloosa. They exchanged vows underneath an arbor in their backyard surrounded by family and friends, most of whom flew in from New York and New Jersey. The theme was “Tuscany meets the beach” and so many elements tied the two together perfectly… just like David and Monica! Congratulations you two!

Real Wedding: Kady & Dave

By posted December 6, 2010, 11:00 am | Comments: 0

It is hard to achieve a classic look without cliche shots. I love the mixture of black and white and color photos – each bring different elements to the overall feeling of the collection. I especially like that you can feel the warmth of this family: the only word to describe it is “close knit.” There truly is love there, and these wedding photos will help them remember the day.

Harbor Island Westin Wedding in Tampa

By posted November 30, 2010, 12:01 pm | Comments: 1

Matthew R Photo is a Florida-based photographer featured on SnapKnot who recently shared this wonderful gallery of wedding photos from the wedding of Esther and Greg at The Westin hotel on Harbor Island in Tampa. The event took place in what looks like an excellent venue and Matthew’s photos capture everthing perfectly: the lighting during the outdoor ceremony to the details to the joy of the newlywed couple.

In Matthew’s words:

Esther sat in her chair patiently as her makeup was applied, making and taking phone calls here and there to make sure everything was just right. Greg ran errands throughout the morning and eventually made his way to his room to get ready. Soon after Greg donned his awesome grey Perry Ellis suit, Esther slid into her amazing dress. Esther looked out her hotel room window at The Westin looking over Harbor Island in Tampa while her dress was laced up. All of this, led to the beautiful ceremony that ensued. This was their wedding day, and I couldn’t have been happier to be a part of it.

Beautiful Japanese lanterns provided by My Event Design hung over the ceremony, and the light coming in off the river, through the trees was incredible.

Real Wedding: Jaymee and Kyle

By posted November 20, 2010, 11:55 am | Comments: 1

Ok, I have to admit it. This is one of my favorite real wedding posts I’ve ever done. In addition to the couple being absolutely stunning, their wedding exudes luxury and glam. The radiant bride wore a beautiful gown – I love the overlay detail and the icy waist belt. Their color scheme was to die for: soft pinks and slate greys. The flowers – bouquets of soft roses, posies, and other delicate petals – fit right in.

To compliment their gorgeous attire, Jaymee & Kyle wed at the Viceroy in Palm Springs, a prime location and beautiful backdrop for this once-in-a-lifetime occasion. There’s nothing like the lush greens and mountainous views of Southern California.

Check out the entire collection of Jaymee & Kyle’s wedding. I hope you’ll love it as much as I do. And you simply must check out Lane Dittoe‘s other work – it is magical.

JP Brandano Photography is the husband & wife photography team of Jim and Phyllis Brandano, Premium Wedding Photographers featured on SnapKnot. Jim & Phyllis wanted to share with you these photos from the wedding of Lisa and Brian Egnitz, and it was the Brandanos’ last wedding before they moved to Port Saint Lucie.

Here are some words from Jim & Phyllis and select photos from the couple’s first dance:

The first dance is always a favorite of us to photograph. The emotions that are seen during the dance are so real and so wonderful to see and photograph. These images are from the wedding of Lisa & Brian Egnitz, the last wedding we photographed before moving to Florida. We had a wonderful time and met some great people there. Lisa and Brian are a beautiful couple, both physically and in every other way.  We know they will have a long, happy marriage filled with love! We want to thank them both for allowing us to photograph their wedding day.

Real Wedding: Chic at City Hall

By posted October 19, 2010, 10:41 am | Comments: 0

For some, a city hall marriage might seem like a quiet, simple way to say “I do.” For others, it can turn into the wedding of a lifetime. This couple did just that, turning a simple, understated ceremony into something amazingly chic. After all, less is more, right?

This bride looked stunning in a short, cocktail dress, which is completed entirely by her striking hair piece. The wedding rings are also unique, engraved simply with the couple’s intitials. These captured moments seem romantic and modern, yet so New York and fabulous. Love.

Real Wedding: Megan & Josh

By posted September 17, 2010, 10:45 am | Comments: 3

I came across these beautiful wedding photos and couldn’t help but share them. I am all about classic details with a modern twist, the pops of color, and the simplicity of the images.

The photographers said of Megan and Josh:

This one just owned it – from start to finish. Josh is from Tennessee, Megan from Massachusetts, and they brought their families together in Brooklyn for a small ceremony and reception at the swinging Frankie’s Spuntino in Carroll Gardens. We’ve been really lucky to work with a lot of amazing couples this year and Josh and Megan are so included in those ranks its not even funny. They’re so good to and for each other…

This wedding feels so nostalgic and classic. I am especially loving the bright pink shoe and cocktail style wedding dress. It feels fresh and modern, yet vintage and soft. The exposed brick adds a nice touch of color and warmth. And how fun is the Vespa get-away? So unique and candid. Enjoy these beautiful pictures and check out the entire collection over at Oh, Darling!

Real Wedding: Daniel & Monica

By posted August 18, 2010, 11:03 am | Comments: 1

I had to show the wedding photos from Daniel and Monica’s wedding. These photos are so fresh and clean; there is such an honesty about them. I really love the croquet shoes and her color scheme. So unique and bold, yet subtle.

This wedding screams Americana with the croquet and the country club feel. I’m especially fond of the sparkler send off – how enchanting! And look at that wedding cake! Is it made up of cookies or donuts? Either way, it looks delightful and adorable. I want a piece!
